Zionsville Young Life is the local ministry that's a part of a larger international organization.  Our local staff and volunteers enter the world of kids in our community, focusing on what matters most to themfun, adventure, friendship, and a sense of significance.  In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we think matters most of allthe truth about God and His love for us, as shown through His son, Jesus Christ.

Even though Young Life is especially for kids, parents and other adults in the community are important to Young Life. Adults can support Young Life in a variety of ways—by becoming a volunteer leader or committee member, by attending a Young Life fundraising event, by hosting Young Life, or by simply telling others in the community about Young Life and its commitment to kids.

An important part of our commitment to parents is how we keep kids safe. Our staff and volunteer leaders know they are responsible for modeling lives of hope and integrity. Young Life’s Human Resources department has developed mission-wide policies and procedures to ensure that kids are protected when they are with Young Life staff and/or leaders, as well as when kids are part of Young Life-sponsored activities.

Our leaders are adults who are screened carefully and trained continuously.  In time, many parents meet and come to know and trust these leaders.  One of the best ways to learn about Young Life is to talk to a parent who was once involved or whose kids have been involved.  Let us know if we can help make an introduction.

As leaders build relationships with students, they inevitably meet and often get to know parents as well.  This is important to our leaders and Zionsville Young Life, because parents are our partners—we want the best for your kid, too.

Young Life exists in Zionsville because of various adults who invite our presence, guide the organization, help make things happen, and financially support our area by helping raise its budget.  We call these people our committee, friends of Young Life, and donors. No doubt you know some of our committee members and supporters.

Young Life is an ecumenical, non-denominational organization. It’s one of the reasons why we are able to build relationships with so many different types of kids.  In fact, the individuals involved in Zionsville Young Life represent many different churches from around the area, including Traders Point Christian Church, Eagle Church, St. Alphonsus Ligouri Catholic Church, College Park Church, Radiate Church, and Common Ground Church.
